Please telephone: 111 (NHS 111)

NHS Urgent Care Centre

Manchester NHS Urgent Care Centre offers convenient access to a range of treatments, dealing with minor illnesses and injuries.

These include:

  • infection and rashes
  • fractures and lacerations
  • emergency contraception and advice
  • stomach upsets
  • cuts and bruises, burns and strains

Boots City Health Centre

2nd Floor Boots,

32 Market Street,

Manchester

M1 1PL

Tel: 0161 839 6227

Opening times: 8am to 8pm every day.

Please telephone – this is not a walk-in service.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Click here to access NHS 111 online or call 111 to speak to a staff member.

Staff Training Closures

The surgery is closed 12.30pm to 1.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month so that doctors, nurses and administration staff can have protected time for training and development.

In cases of emergency, please telephone GoToDoc on 0161 336 5958.
